(What is the slope between the points (3, 5) and (-2, -4)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[m = \frac{ y_{2}-y _{1} }{ x _{2}-x _{1} }\] where m is your slope, just plug and chug from here

Could you explain that alittle further please @iambatman

Your points represent (x1,y1) => (3,5) (x2,y2) => (-2, -4) do you know what the slope is of a line? Remember rise/run, does that ring a bell? |dw:1425024652192:dw| delta y and delta x represent the change in the y direction and x direction, that's just a analogous picture, hope that helps!

Its helps :) Thank you @iambatman
