Awolflover1 (awolflover1):

Three vertices of a rectangle have coordinates (–6, 2), (–6,–1), and (4, 2). What are the coordinates of the fourth vertex of the rectangle? A. (–6, –2) B. (–6, 1) C. (4, –1) D. (4, –2)

Awolflover1 (awolflover1):

My answer is C

Awolflover1 (awolflover1):

@inowalst

OpenStudy (inowalst):

In the coordinates, (-6, 2), (-6,-1), all that changed was the y value. It decreased by 3 points. So why not do the same for (4,2).

OpenStudy (inowalst):

What was your answer?

Awolflover1 (awolflover1):

D? @inowalst

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Well look at the (6,...) coordinates. For two points you have 2 as your y coordinate, so to make it the same, you need two points with -1 as its y coordinate.

Awolflover1 (awolflover1):

B

OpenStudy (inowalst):

B is already one of your coordinates. Try again.

Awolflover1 (awolflover1):

A

OpenStudy (inowalst):

I AM SO SORRY! You were right with C the first time! >_<

Awolflover1 (awolflover1):

Yeah it was C....
