What was the significance of Luther’s translation of the Bible into German? A. Only the very educated people could read the Bible. B. Ordinary people could read the Bible, and no longer had to rely on the Church to interpret it for them. C. Only the priests would be able to read and interpret the Bible and they could charge money for those services. D. Scholars became more interested in studying the Bible.

B) Ordinary people could read the Bible, and no longer had to rely on the Church to interpret it for them. Because when the bible was in german there was no longer a reason for anyone else to read if for them. They could teach themselves the bible and their religion now that they had it in their language, If that made any sense at all
