A Large Pzza At Palansinios Pizzariea costs 6.80 and .90 for each topping. The cost of a large cheese pizza at guldos is 7.30 and .65 for each topping. How many topping are neeed to be added to a large cheese pizza from palansios and guldos pizza on order for the pizzas to cost the same

OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

the first one a pizza is \(6.80\) and toppings are \(.90\) each so a pizza with say \(x\) topping would cost \[6.80+.90x\]

OpenStudy (misty1212):

at the second place the cost would be \[7.30+.65x\]

OpenStudy (misty1212):

the same means equal, solve \[6.80+.90x+7.30+.65x\] for \(x\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would that count as A

OpenStudy (misty1212):

oops i meant \[6.80+.90x=7.30+.65x\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and wouldnt it be (6.80+90x)+(7.30+.65x)=x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no nevermind

OpenStudy (misty1212):

this does not require two variables, unless you want to say \[y=6.80+.90x\\ y=7.30+.65x\]

OpenStudy (misty1212):

where \(y\) is the total cost and \(x\) is the number of toppings

how do I find a system of an equation?
