OpenStudy (triciaal):

did you check some points given?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=x+2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it is B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

remember y=mx+b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its D? i suck at math... :P

OpenStudy (misty1212):

lol me too it crosses the y axis at 2, so you expect to see a \(+2\) out at the end

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (triciaal):

you have when x = 0 y = 2 and when y = 0 x = -2 this gives (0,2) and (-2, 0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep :) that ecuation is quite useful

OpenStudy (misty1212):

so yeah, go with D since that is the only one with a \(+2\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[m=\frac{ y_{2}-y_{1} }{ x_{2}-x_{1} }\] use the formula for the slope by plugging in the x and y coordinates for two separate points on the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c has a plus +2

OpenStudy (misty1212):

as for the slope, with your eyes you see the line goes right one, up one, making the slope 1

OpenStudy (misty1212):

oh yeah, so it does, doesn't it but the line goes over one, up one, not over one, up two

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so i will go with D

OpenStudy (triciaal):

correct
