what does the outer ear consist of ? select all that apply ! >>Chochlea,Lateral canal,Auditory canal,Eustachian tube,Auricle
Hi! Do you still need help @Barnyard_Pimp?
Okay we're going to eliminate each choice one by one! Let's start with the first one: Chochlea Read this link and tell me if you think the OUTER ear consists of this organ ↓ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cochlea
okay so which are we gonna start with ?
The outer ear includes: auricle (cartilage covered by skin placed on opposite sides of the head) auditory canal (also called the ear canal) eardrum outer layer (also called the tympanic membrane)
so which is it ?
@AMYCARTER I didn't mean to cut you off :/
I can't give you the answer @Barnyard_Pimp, I'm going to GUIDE you to the answer. Read the code of conduct :) http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct
And it's fine @Love_Ranaa
So do you have your answer now @Barnyard_Pimp?
ummmm.........auricle ? @AMYCARTER
That's correct @Barnyard_Pimp good job :)
is that the only answer tho ? or is there two answers to that question ? @AMYCARTER
Well, I know that Chochlea is NOT a right answer. If you read the link I posted earlier you'll see that I'm right. Now lateral.....I think that is a type of surgery for the outer ear. Correct me if I'm wrong. The Auditory canal is a tube running from the OUTER ear to the middle ear so that may be a choice. The Eustachian tube is a narrow tube that connects the space behind the eardrum (the middle ear) with the back of the nose. In adults it is about 3-4 cm long. The middle ear is normally filled with air, so what do you think for that one? I think The Eustachian tube would NOT be a correct answer.
