first here's how you can find an infinite amount of irrational numbers between them... square on of the numbers... (9.5)² = 90.25 now add a decimal to it, like 0.1... (we're adding because we started from the smaller number) 90.35 √90.35 ≈ 9.50526170076... ≈ 9.51 (to the nearest hundredth) ...... we're using the fact that the square root of anything that isn't a perfect square is irrational. so, as long as the decimal that you're adding to the square (or subtracting from the larger amount squared) does not combine to give a perfect square, then you're ok) .... hope this helps :)
