Please help! Use the data to make a frequency table: marathon times (min): 135 211 220 180 175 161 246 201 192 167 235 208

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to have this done quickly. Please show me how to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry I tried

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to make frequency tables?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No. That's why I'm asking for someones help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok....give me a sec and i will try to break it down for you....:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not trying to be rude but I'm kind of in a hurry..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first order them from least to greatest... 135, 161, 167, 175, 180, 192, 201, 208, 211, 220, 235, 245..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then since 135 to 245 is a big jump..you will break the numbers down into sections

OpenStudy (anonymous):

130-170; 171-190; 191-210; 211-230; 231-250....then youll have the big numbers plotted out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

make sure you have your square drawn out so you can plot the numbers...they will go under marathon times...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then you will have a row for tally's and the tally's will show how many numbers are in each range...the next row will be the frequency...you will then instead of tallies will put the actual number of numbers in between each section....do you understand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anything else? Did that help you at all?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got it now. Thanks so much!
