\(A=\pi r^2\)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
um i cant read that XD sorry
OpenStudy (bibby):
lolwut, what do you mean, should I write it out?|dw:1425933235732:dw|
OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (bibby):
oh, yeah. so pi = 3.14
what is the radius squared (raised to the power of 2)?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
um so 400 x 400 = 16,000 right?
OpenStudy (bibby):
the way I see it, it's 4*4 and 4 0s
400*400=160,000
OpenStudy (bibby):
that's a really vague way of saying it, but 400=4*100
so 400x400=4x4x100x100
and that is = 16x100x100
OpenStudy (bibby):
aka 16 and 4 0s

then so 3.14 x 160,000 = 50,2400
OpenStudy (bibby):

OpenStudy (bibby):
go from right to left, and group by 3s :p
