I dont get how r=a cosec x
r=a cosec x means that sin x = a/r, right? ....and that comes from the basic geometry of the shape and the fact that sin = opp / adjacent. if you still can't see it, drop a line from N, parallel to AD, onto AB.
I don't think I'd really think to that extend if this question were to come out during exam. :( Is there any other way besides using cosec?
