OpenStudy (campbell_st):

in the table, what does the y value increase by...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

90?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

not quite... can you check the table again..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh 80, thought you meant on the right graph haha

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

great so that is the slope of the equation that is used in the table y = 80x where x = 1, 2, 3, 4, ... so using this equation, what is y when x = 11..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok hold on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you explain? I got no clue, I hate math xD

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok... the equation you need for the table is \[y = 80 \times x\] so replace x with 11 and calculate an answer what do you get...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got no clue :(

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

you just need to calculate \[y = 80 \times 11\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

80 x 11 = 880 and thats not in the chocies

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

in the graph the equation is \[y = 45 \times x\] same thing... replace x with 11 and calculate a number answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I feel so dumb, I have no idea still

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I answered all the other questions easily, but this and another is so hard for some reason

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

just pick up a calculate and multiple 80 by 11 then multiply 45 and 11 the difference between the 2 numbers in the answer

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

so you need \[Answer = 80 \times 11 - 45 \times 11\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

385?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@campbell_st Thank you so much, mind answering another quick one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C is just a wild guess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AgentLocke how did you get c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just a meer guess mate, I got NO clue of the real answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AgentLocke try x/y and you will have your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4 over 16?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you mate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

GOOD JOB

OpenStudy (anonymous):

;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anything else?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Uhh, nope thats it. Thanks dood

OpenStudy (anonymous):

have a great day :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You too :D
