I need help with this problem: Kim Lenaghan group of preschool children includes nine girl and seven boys. If Kim randomly selected one child to be the first in line, with E being the vent that the one selected is a girl, give each of the following. a) The total number of possible outcomes b) the favorable outcome c) the unfavorable outcomes d) the probability of event E e) the odds in favorable of event E
Are there just 9 or 10 girls...
The question in the book says nine girls. I'm so confused with this problem
I think that the answer is B. and E. but... Don't leave me 2 the answer I'm not exactly sure tbh
hehe the a-d thing was questions needed to be answered not choose which one was correct.
O NVM EVERYTHING I JUST SAID JUST NOW...
Image attached to show the question and the one above it is similar this question is harder to answer
I know that B. would be a girl and C. would be a boy
I think that A. would be 2 because the teacher can only pick a boy or a girl
I think that D. would be 9:7
Okay. I'll take your answer for it. I'm gonna ask the professor next week to work this one out for class.
Wish the back of these text book had even number answers and not just odd numbers
