This inequality, different from what you know as an "equation". when we deal with an equation we try to find one and only one value of "x" that satifies the equation. When we see a "<" or ">" we call it an "inequation" because we are looking for a set of values that satisfies the inequality. \[5x+4>19\] is solved the same way as an equation, we can sustract 4 from both sides and end up with: \[5x>15\] Then dividing 5 on both sides: \[x>\frac{ 15 }{ 5 }\] \[x>3\]
