I already did part of the question, just stuck at the last bit. \[\frac{ \sqrt{3} }{ 2 } - \frac{ 1 }{ \sqrt{2} } - \cot \frac{ 9\pi }{ 2 }\] How do I convert cot 9pi/2?
cot = 1/tan
1/tan(9pi/2)
Yeah, but like. 9pi/2 = 810 degrees, wihch also means 90 degrees, and the tan of 90 degrees is something like 1.6331239e+16.
yes it is 90 deg. do you know what cos 90 and sin 90 are?

1 for sin, 0 for cos
so tan is sin/cos
Wait why? o_O
its a property tan = sin/cos
but since its inverse 1/tan = cos/sin

Ohhhh. So \[\frac{ \frac{ o }{ h } }{ \frac{ a }{ h }} = \frac{ 0 }{ a } = tangent?\]
Thus the cot of 90 degrees = 0?
correct! nice job
\[\frac{ \sqrt{3} - \sqrt{2} }{ 2 }\] Must be the answer to this question right?
yes
