OpenStudy (whiteowl3):

I have an Interpersonal Task for Spanish tomorrow. I have to discuss with a classmate my eating habits, and vice-versa, as I'm "staying with them for the weekend." How should I go about this? I've memorized the vocab terms, but I want to be able to remember sentences for it too. Thanks!

OpenStudy (whiteowl3):

Here are the instructions: You are visiting Costa Rica and have made friends with a local family and they have invited you to stay with them for the weekend! Your friend needs to know your eating habits and what foods you like and dislike so that the family can prepare the meals for your visit. Have a conversation with your friend in which you each talk about what you typically eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and what foods you like and dislike.

do it like i you were talking to them in english, then put the sentences here for translation

Hello there! If I may join in, I'd recommend using structures like: (1) *gustar* (= to like). Examples: *Me gusta(n)...* [= "I like"] *No me gusta(n)...* [= "I don't like"] *¿Qué te gusta?* [= "What do you like?"] *¿Qué no te gusta?* [= "What don't you like?"] (2) *soler* + verb (= to usually do something). Examples: *Suelo comer...* *Suelo beber... * [= "I usually eat..." "I usually drink..."] *¿Qué sueles comer?* *¿Qué sueles beber?* [= "What do you usually eat/drink?"] Hope this helps! Blessings
