Step 1) record the x coordinate of each point. This is because the variable A is along the x axis
Step 2) Add up those x coordinates you wrote down in step 1
Step 3) Divide the result in step 2 by 10 because there are 10 points, so there are 10 x coordinates recorded in step 1 and added up in step 2

Thank you @jim_thompson5910

OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):
42
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
I'm not getting 42. Try it again. List out the values you're adding up please.

okay i added up 5 2 4 6 2 8 10
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
keep in mind that
there are 2 points that have an x coordinate of x = 2
there are 2 points that have an x coordinate of x = 5
there are 2 points that have an x coordinate of x = 7
OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):
so i add 2+2 5+5 and 7+7?
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
yeah along with the other x coordinates
OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):
i got 56 now do i divide by 10?
