If f(x)=sinx and g(x)=cosx, then the set of all x for which f'(x)=g'(x) is?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

when does sinx = cosx?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

well, assuming the tick (') is a derivative .... f' = cosx and g' = -sinx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think I got it. Is it 3pi/4 + k•pi?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

thats acceptable to me yes. another approach: pi n - pi/4 either one is fine
