a diploid species has 2n=52 chromosomes. If you found a monosomy in a member of this species how many chromosomes would it have
Monosomy is a form of aneuploidy with the presence of only one chromosome instead of the typical number (in this case this is a diploid species, so two copies of each chromosome). Humans are a diploid species, with 2n=46. So a member that showed monosomy would only have "n" number of chromosomes, or 23. Apply this same concept to your problem.
