OpenStudy (kmcunningham):

Help--why would they give me r as a vector if its only asking for v ⋅ w ? (this is using dot products of vectors) Evaluate the expression: v ⋅ w Given the vectors: r = <8, 8, -6>; v = <3, -8, -3>; w = <-4, -2, -6>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Extra information to confuse you maybe :) ?

OpenStudy (kmcunningham):

really?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why would you need r if you are calculating v.w ? It's just extra information , maybe you need it for another problem.

OpenStudy (perl):

agree with above. just calculate v dot w

OpenStudy (kmcunningham):

okay. thank you:)
