Will fan and medal!!! The radius r of a circle can be written as a function of the area A with the following equation: r=sqrt(A/pi) What is the domain of this function? Explain why it makes sense in this context.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The domain of the function is \[A \ge0\] If A is negative we get an imaginary number for the radius. This makes sense because the area of a circle cannot be negative.
