I am having so much trouble with Special Products. Could someone please help me solve: The product of (a - b)(a - b) is a perfect square trinomial. a.) sometimes b.) Never c.) always

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Notice that (a-b) and (a-b) are identical. That means it can be expressed like this: \(\large (a-b)^2\), which is a square. So the product of those two will always be a perfect square trinomial

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What about (a+b)(a-b) ???

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

not a perfect square, nor is it a trinomial.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so never?
