OpenStudy (lulubj):

Describe what it means to view a moving object from a frame of reference. Give an example to illustrate your explanation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The position of the object is changing with respect to an arbitrary reference point when the object is in motion in that frame of reference. Suppose your reference point is a post. A bird is flying past the post. Since its position is changing relative to the post, it is in motion in that frame of reference.

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

reference frames in physics often mean *inertial* reference frames, as these meet Einstein's postulate -- the laws of physics are the same in every such reference frame. maybe you are talking about something different.
