I would appreciate any help at all if possible

OpenStudy (kasper-kay):

waht type of math is it? it wont load on my computer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

algebra liner equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u go through connections acadamy?

OpenStudy (kasper-kay):

no. does the first question you see is it 4y + 2x = 3 (1,5,0)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is a graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it a graph?

OpenStudy (kasper-kay):

okay i got it now.

OpenStudy (kasper-kay):

so do you know how to do any of this? or what do u know how to do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i joined connections late and this is what happens

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so im really lost in this

OpenStudy (kasper-kay):

alright well because i have issuse with this to i can help with the ones i know. so start off with 5 y=3/4x + 5 you have to get it into standard form. do u know what that is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm like x= something right

OpenStudy (kasper-kay):

standard form is Ax + By = C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (kasper-kay):

so if you have y = 3/4x + 5 so then you times 4 by each side so the 4 cancles out on the lright side and moves over to the left side. so then your left with 4y = 3x + 5

OpenStudy (kasper-kay):

wait i almost forgot you have to times it by the 5 to so youll end up with 4y = 3x + 20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (kasper-kay):

then you minus 3x by both sides. and get 3x + 4y = 20 so there is the anwer in standard form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (kasper-kay):

do u get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but just to be sure what i do is if it is a fraction i take the denominator and multiply it by the number on the right and that inturns becomes the final andswer aka c then i just switch x and y right?

OpenStudy (kasper-kay):

yeah. except if its a fraction the denominator number becomes the number witht the y on the left side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about number 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do i do the same process

OpenStudy (kasper-kay):

yeah but first you have yo distibute the 1/3 (x - 6) then minus 4 on each side then do the same proccess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx

OpenStudy (kasper-kay):

no problem
