Tori rotated ΔABC 90° counterclockwise around point A to form ΔAED. Then she rotated ΔAED 90° counterclockwise around point E to form ΔGEF. Finally, she rotated ΔGEF 90° counterclockwise around point G to form ΔGBD. The length of segment AB is 16 in. How long is segment BG? _____in http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1572500_1573000/1572844/1/3cd582111d98ad438038d89ec9e117e805effacf/MS_IMC-141215-110509.jpg

If the angles are all 90 degrees, the shape ABGE is a square. Knowing that, what is the relationship between the sides of the square? (AB and BG are sides of that square)

Umm, so i Add? o.o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or do i add all the square 90 + 90 like that..

OpenStudy (thefurball):

Nope. In a square, all of the side lengths are equal. AB and BG are both sides of a square (You know this because all of the angles of the square are 90 degrees), and we know that AB is 16 in. Therefore, BG must be....?

Idk..
