How would you teach ionization of water to 5th grader's?
polarity can always be taught even at a very young age, but you would have to always start from fundamental particles and their properties
I have to make it so they'll understand it...
with my experience, by the time I was in 4th grade, we were using light microscopes already so it was established that the stuff that makes up everything are indeed very very very small
get an idea from Bill Nye's videos on matter and atoms
BILL NYEEEEEEE the science guyyyyyyyyyyy
Youtube video's?
ye
I need to teach it to the average (kinda of less intelligent) 5th graders lol
I would go with nincompoop and explain it in terms of polarity and the structure of water. For simplicity use protons (instead of hydronium), based on the 1:1 ratio of protons and hydroxide ions you can explain waters natural pH properties in simple terms.
you got a degree because of this guy? lol
Could you describe it a little bit more.. Too tired to think..
