we need a mechanical/electrical/engineering section anyone have thought on that?
Well, it will have to be a major thing that numerous users on os want and have questions for. If it's going to be a dead subject, then the devs won't consider it.
well i dont know that it will be a booming section but it would introduce vocational students (like I) to come and use the site
Well if it isn't going to be a major subject that won't have a lot of users (the majority of users on os are in high school), then it may not pull off.
We already have a subject for it: http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Engineering
OH wow :O
Nice one TSO xD
ok haha but not what i meant thats all just physical science not actual ENGINEering
like legit mechanical such as cars/bikes and gas compression
Yea but what would you expect on a "study" website. It's focused on high school students. If you want help on pimping your ride you'd better go to an automotive engineering forum or something similar.
not "pimping" a ride... like when taking a natural gas compression class a question could be "what ratio should the lean be on a 45etd80 pump be" or when taking a mechanical class " what should the compression be on a 2004 chevy 5.7 longblock"
or an electronics group like working on computers and such
Yes, that's all what automotive engineering forums are about :p As far as I know there are no experts in that field on this site.
i am lol i could be the guru im an ASE cert. mechanic and have 2 years of natural gas compression
