I need some help with this Limiting Reactant Stoichiometry problem. I know the answer now, but I don't understand it. Given the following reaction: Zn+2HCl→ZnCl2+H2 How many grams of ZnCl2 will be produced from 17g of Zn and 1g of HCl? I understand everything up to the point of multiplying the molecular mass of 132.8 by 0.014. Wouldn't you want to multiply it by the limiting factor?

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HCl is the limiting reagent
