Welcome to OpenStudy! Your question seems a bit confusing. Is there another way where you can word it? Thank you!

this is how the problem is set up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

syllable:word:: _____ sentence:phrase cheese:pizza arbitrary:rule-governed metaphor:simile

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

I think I know what you're aiming at. But still, the question really doesn't make sense to me. Although like I said, I think I know what you're aiming at.

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

What do you think the answer might be?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

syllables make up words.....words contain syllables.....maybe that's the relationship

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was thinking sentence phrase

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Does sentence have the same exact syllable as phrase? Or the other way? I disagree with that though.

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I don't exactly agree......a phrase does not make up a complete sentence...a phrase is more like a sentence fragment. I know this might be wrong...but I am guessing cheese:pizza. syllable : word......syllables can be found in words cheese : pizza ...cheese can be found in pizza's just my opinion...not 100% sure

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

That's what my opinion was as well.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

No problem!
