If it took 24.5 mL of .35 molar NaOH to neutralize 15 mL of HNO3 what is the molar concentration of the HNO3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I've been told the answer is .572 M HNO3, but I have no idea how that answer was reached. Any help would be great! Thanks so much!

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

set them together (24.5 ml)(.35 M)=(15ml) (m2) this is from v1m1=m1m2

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

*v1m1=v2m2
