The measure of angle θ is 600°. The point (x, y) corresponding to θ on the unit circle is? (___,___) the options for inside parenthesis are A.) -(3^(1/2))/2 B.)-1(2^(1/2))/2 C.)-1/2 D.) (3^(1/2))/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is B or D either one but if i were u id choose D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You need two of them one for each inside parenthesis if it makes sense lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like for instance (-(3^(1/2))/2 , -1/2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@iGreen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what you need is a unit circle cheat sheet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you will not find 600 degrees on the circle, but you will find \(600-360=240^\circ\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then you can directly read the coordinates right off the circle let me know when you see it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be (-1/2 , -(3^(1/2))?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup u got it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you guys this stuff is confusing =)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know right
