******Medal in Exchange for Chemistry Help****** For a note taking assignment in Chem we have to answer these questions, but I don't understand how you do them. I would really appreciate your help in solving them. What is the pH of 1 x 10^-11 [OH-]? What is the pH of 3 x 10^-6 [OH-]?
do you just want the answers
I would love the answers, but the explanation would be appreciated as well. I'm on a deadline to complete the assignment by 11:59 PM EST, so I'm trying to complete everything today. :) @clayton1012110
there's a logarithmic relationship between the concentration of H+ ions in a solution and its pH. Do you know what it is?
No, I'm sorry. The best guess I have is K^w, but I have no idea what K and W represent. @JFraser
Use the formulas \(\sf \large pH+pOH=14\) \(\sf \large pH=-log[H^+]\) \(\sf \large pOH=-log[OH^-]\)
Oh! Thanks! I knew the ph to POH formula but not the other one. This will definetly help. :)
no problem
