Which of the sets of ordered pairs represents a function? A = {(−5, 5), (−2, 2), (2, −2), (5, −5)} B = {(4, 2), (3, −2), (9, 4), (11, −3)} A) Only A B) Only B C) Both A and B D) Neither A nor B

Well we know that the input numbers cant be the same but the output numbers can. For examples if I had {(4,2), (6,4), (4,4)} It would not be a function because the 4 appears twice in the input. So after what i just said can you tell me what you think the answer might be?

C) Both A and B because both sets of ordered pairs have no like inputs. Therefore, they pass the vertical line test and are functions. XD

Your correct (by the way a medal would be nice) XD
