Let f(x) = 3x2 + 10x– 8 and g(x) = x + 4.

geerky42 (geerky42):

Replace \(f(x)\) to \(3x^2+10x-8\) and \(g(x)\) to \(x+4\) So you have \(\dfrac{3f(x)}{-g(x)}=\dfrac{3(3x^2+10x-8)}{-(x+4)}\). Can you simplify from here? (I would factor \(3x^2+10x-8\))
