I'm not sure which subject to ask this question under but here goes... Which of the following is not a step in the process of a bill becoming a law? A. The bill is given a number. B. The bill is assigned to a standing committee. C. The bill is approved by the Supreme Court. D. The bill is sent to the President for approval.

This is the best place you can ask the question, Its part of history and government is a part of history! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@fierstar123 thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@bob_the_destroyer could you help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now lets see if we can help you here. Out of all of these, which is an obvious not the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well i know that the bill is given a number, so A isnt it. I know that B isnt it either because the syading committee goes over it as well.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@pizza4dayz Please don't give direct answers. Its against the CoC. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@pizza4dayz thats wrong though, all bills are given a number. that's what it says in my lesson.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright we have two down, so We are left with two answers, but which is the BEST answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it is C because the supreme court doesn't approve it, do they?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B. is not an absolute process but it can happen if the bill is vetoed. B is the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No they don't. Its goes to Congress not the Supreme court. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be C right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct! *throws confetti*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
