@Michele_Laino

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Well, the coordinates have to have a x value of 0, since it is the y-intercept, so what choices does that mark out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk how to do any of this

OpenStudy (welshfella):

at the y-intercet the value of x coordinate is 0 so its either A or D. to find the other coordinate y replace x with 0 in the equation and calculate y 3y + 2(0) = 12 find y

OpenStudy (welshfella):

3y + 0 = 12 3y = 12 y = ?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

divide both sides of the equation by 3 and you'll get y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4

OpenStudy (welshfella):

yes

OpenStudy (welshfella):

so the y intercept is at the point (0,4)
