How do I go about doing this problem http://gyazo.com/e9e1a4fac980a047f2c4cd9450a4b017 I'm a little confused with the formulas :/

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Standard form of the equation is as such \[Ax+By=C\] you're given a point and the slope, so you can use the point slope form formula, \[y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\] where your point is \[(x_1, y_1)\] and slope is m.

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Now you should be able to do the problem :))))

Thank you

(Y-y)=m(X-x) standard form Y-2= m(X-6) Y-2=-1/2(x-6) Y=-1/2x+3+2 Y=-1/2x+5 did you get y=- 1/2x+5 ?
