well angles 2,3, and 5 are all parts of a triangle. And all triangles have 180 degrees, so therefore, angles 2, 3, and 5 should all add up to 180 degrees.
Also, since the two lines are parallel, there are a lot of calculations that can be done
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so what does that mean?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
but no reason to complicate anything.
all you need to know for this problem is that all angles in a triangle add up to 180
HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):
so here are a few hints:

OpenStudy (anonymous):
so just put any numbers as long as they add up to 180

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):
but as @FlashBT3 has said, since it is a triangle, triangle angles will always add up to 180 degrees
OpenStudy (anonymous):
for a triangle yes
bigger number will be the bigger angle
smallest number is the smallest angle
middle number is the 2nd biggest angle

@Jamierox4ev3r is right with all that I just try to keep things simple

cool
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so do you mind checking some of my answers?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no problem
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok wait a sec
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I put 39 for that one

66 for this one
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I put B. but I'm not sure
OpenStudy (anonymous):
since they are both labeled x they are equal to each other, so do 180-102=78
then divide by 2 = 39 for each of the angles in the 1st question
OpenStudy (anonymous):
2nd one 66 is right
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I put B for this one too,but I'm not sure

This one goes with #5 I put B,but then again I'm not sure
OpenStudy (anonymous):
3rd one is wrong.
again it is just a triangle just add up the angles it gives you 14+32=46
then subtract that from 180-46=134
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
4th one is right
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok

the last one is C because they do not share a line.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok cool thanks

I have a couple of more I need reassuring on

a straight line is also equal to 180 degrees and 63 and 3 are corresponding so they are equal. since now you know 3=63 you can do 180-63 to get your answer for the first one
