Which type of triangle, if any, has side lengths of 11, 15, and 25? equilateral triangle isosceles triangle scalene triangle It's not a triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the definition of an equilateral triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

equilateral triangle is a triangle in which all three sides are equal. In traditional or Euclidean geometry equilateral triangles are also quadrangular that is, all three internal angles are also congruent to each other and are each 60°.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's not A because the sides aren't all the same, It's not B because 2 of teh sides don't have the same length. It is C because it has all unequal sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so would the side lenghts 11, 15, and 25 fit the description?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And D is wrong, because it is a triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@BriannaBear please let void figure it out and dont hand the answers out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

~shrugs~ i dont know > n<

OpenStudy (anonymous):

equilateral triangle in simple words means= all sides and angles are the same so if this shape is 11 15 and 25, is it an equilateral triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1430853718839:dw| does this look like an equilateral triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry, At least I gave evidence to support my answer. I didn't know only 1 person could answer a question. It was a question, there was no specific info on whether or not someone wanted to figure it out on their own. I'm just answering a question, I have freedom of speech. And I get it is better to learn, but then why didn't the person ask for the steps?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so we can rule that out now,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not handing out answers, If I was I would be straight up saying it was C. I gave evidence

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be an scalene triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

many people can help answer a question but you have to guide them and let them put the pieces of the puzzle together @BriannaBear

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes void it would be but do you know why

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because i looked up an scalene triangle and i applied the points or numbers and and i was like :O i got it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like I said, at least I didn't just give it away. You should of said something @icecreamman so I would've known not to say anything. B/c some ppl just want the answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes! good job void!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

~claps~ yay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Good job @XxVoidxX

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its one of the rules on os brianna i thought you would have known because you have a good ss

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yw void! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No I've only been on here for maybe a week or so. And All I see is ppl giving out answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But I will take the smart score as a compliment lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so yeah thats one of the rules.... os is basically like a big studying/tutoring where you can ask for help or help others @BriannaBear

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok..... Can u plz help me with some math tho

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes @BriannaBear just tag me in it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok I did
