Is there any symbolism or figurative language in this poem? Hope abides; therefore I abide. Countless frustrations have not cowed me. I am still alive, vibrant with life. The black cloud will disappear, The morning sun will appear once again In all its supernal glory. - Sri Chinmoy

What do you think

OpenStudy (tinylittlehelper):

"The black cloud will disappear, The morning sun will appear once again" Does this really describe a BLACK CLOUD COVERING the sun or something else?

This isn't a question I am being asked in school, I am asking because I am finding evidence of a theme for this poem and I was curious. :) @_kionidawn_xoxo The black cloud and morning sun are kind of like imagery meaning the bad things and good events in life. :) (That is what I understand) @TinyLittleHelper

Oh okay. Well, you are right!
