Bra huh ;)

xD Just kidding.

OpenStudy (badmood):

ok do u know what the ft3 stand's for?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To find the volume of a cube, you need to take the area of the base and multiply it by the height. For a cube, all of the edges are the same length. Area of the base: 10 x 10 = 100 Volume: 100 x 10 = 1000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The \(\tt{ft^3}\) stands for the cubed feet. @badmood

OpenStudy (badmood):

that not all the 3 stand's for X 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What?

OpenStudy (monkeys):

OpenStudy (badmood):

OpenStudy (badmood):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, not necessarily. if it is ft^3 it means Cubic feet.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know. And the little 3 in the corner of `ft` is because we are dealing with a cube.
