OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Hello ^_^ need help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

First off, any ideas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maybe D.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Ok lets first look at the defection of Dwell: "live in or at a specified place." ~googles

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Definition*

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

^ Im posting the definition so we can reword the quote in a more easier way to understand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh so it's referring to a house

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

The prompt and the choices are unrelated. The prompt says nothing of comparing writing styles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be B. @just_one_last_goodbye

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im so confused

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Well it's not really physically talking about a house... could be a view or dream since it says possibility

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Absolutely not. That's the worst of all. Not B. Are you SURE we have the whole problem statement? Is there a larger text from which this tiny excerpt is taken? As presented, there just is not a connection between the prompt and the choices.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

^ thought the same .-.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope that's why im stuck on it everything else I got just not this one

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Well lets try the most powerful tool known to a student in answer choices... the tool of the process of answer elimination meaning we get rid of the words answers first and narrow it down to the top most reasonable answer.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Well obviously you already know its not B, Which is another answer choice that seems wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

true

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

@VividOwl do you think C is a good answer or no?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Okay, let's just ignore the prompt... A. Poetry and prose both offer writers many possibilities for exploring ideas. That's true enough. B. Poems are built with walls and floors, just as houses are. That's just plain silly. There is not a good poem that came to life in this way. You could get computers to write meaningful poetry if this was so. C. The rules of poetry limit what poets can write. If this is so, one should throw out the rules. Horrible choice. D. Poetry is a superior form of writing to prose because the writer can express more. This just makes no sense. Why would either be limited?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was just about to say I don't think C is a good one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree choice a is reasonable. does everyone agree? i'll tell you if you we're right after I get my results

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Sorry. I'm mad at the question, so I thought I'd just spill it. Now the prompt... "I dwell in Possibility" - This seems to mean that we are not limited by the things that we know - and not even by the things we can imagine. Our only limits are those that no one can imagine. This just doesn't sound like fixed structure or known rules or limitations.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

after I finish I will tell you guys what the answer was for now ill medal you both for your help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@just_one_last_goodbye @tkhunny turns out i was right with my first guess it was D. XD

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Thank you so much @vividowl and great job ^_^

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

I believe you, but I have a message for the question writer. "Hogwash". You can quote me on that.
