PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLLLLLEEEEEAAAASSSEEEE HELP Four students measured the same line with a ruler like the one shown below. The results were as follows: 5.52 cm, 6.63 cm, 5.5, and 5.93. (the ruler is like any other ruler, but ends at 10, last number shown is 9. And it's measuring centimeters.) Even though you cannot see the line they actually measured, which of the recorded measurements are possible valid measurements for this instrument, according to its precision? Select all that apply. 5.52 6.63 5.5 5.93
5.93 im only 11 i learned that in forth
Thanks, is that the only answer. It's "Select all that apply," so there should be more than one answer.
so when you measure something with an analog instrument, you estimate a digit above what you can measure. so if the ruler looks like this (has centimeters as the lowest units) |dw:1431535516143:dw| then your measurements are in the tenths place, e.g. 5.5 if the ruler has millimeters as the lowest unit, then your measurements are 5.55
Millimeters are the lowest unit on it.
