Which of the following transfers Carbon from the nonliving environment to the living environment? Photosynthesis Cellular Respiration Burning Decomposing Is it decomposing?
So the one that doesn't would be decomposing right?
Since photosynthesis and cellular respiration both are living then I know those can't be correct. Would it be burning since that's nonliving?
Well I'm not sure which one because burning is nonliving and decomposing has to deal with nonliving animals.
Hahahahaha. Does anyone know biology here? It cannot be decomposing because decomposers decompose living material into non-living material.
It is burning, which transfers carbon from abiotic materials into the atmosphere, where it can be used by plants for photosysnthesis
It is photosynthesis that transfers carbon from the nonliving to the living.
I'm pretty sure it is burning @jherrera57
Photosynthesis takes carbon dioxide and builds sugars inside living cells. It takes a nonliving form of carbon and incorporates it into molecules inside of live cells. It is definitely photosynthesis. How is something that has been burned still going to be alive?
Yes thank you @jherrera57 I see you are correct but unfortunately when answering it at first I got it wrong because I put burning :P
