that is what they gave us in the lesson and I am having trouble understanding how to apply by setting up the problem. I have trouble setting up an equation and putting the numbers in the right places. I have ADHD so my brain organizes things differently from other peoples which is one of the reasons why we have problems focusing on one task for an extended amount of time.... In other words, can we keep this as dumbed down as possible?

the formulas are not that pretty, and it looks like you might be better off with excel of some spread sheet program to find the values needed im not sure, but i think they give you the top part already \[\large \sqrt{\frac{s^2_e}{\sum (x-\bar x)^2}}\]

im not sure, but i think this might be asking for how well the regression model for round 1, fits for round 2. if we regard the regression line in 1 as the mean, the variance can be determined by sum (observed - y^) ^2 ------------------- n (or n-1) but m not sure how well this fits in here

Well I'm pretty sure this is it http://www.maths.otago.ac.nz/home/resources/stat110/2013_Summer_School:_Lectures/Lecture_8_-_Confidence_Intervals,_Two_Samples,_Paired_Data.pdf I believe. You need to first decide which test you are using (kind of not really) You know its paired because its two samples. It's one sample because they are comparing peoples results in two different time points Then you need to find the t-statistic given for 12 people (so what is the degrees of freedom?), and the 95% aspect of it. (.025 on each tail) Then you are done So it looks like this (meanround 2-mean round1)+/- T-statistic*standard error

College exams? That's rough, luckily once you finish the test they let you leave though so it can be three hours for those who need it but most people finish them in an hour and a half

Yes I'm not sure if the degrees of freedom is correct. If that is what your instructor raught you then go with it. Different teachers say different df

Hmm odd. I was taught What I am doing. I am almost positive it is correct with what I am saying. I know this because we are conducting an analogous one paired sample t-test. I'm not sure. I believe what I am saying is correct but I could be wrong. (it's funny if I'm wrong too because my exam for stat is today haha).
