I would say it's C

OpenStudy (vianne):

@emilybbydoll Explain why, and let her guess the answer before you tell her. Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well guessing isn't really good either

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A is wrong because plays should be in italics.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Book titles should be in Italics too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Vianne It shouldn't be guessing or they would go a guessing spree

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So cross B out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you and I understand why C is correct I that was my personal guess anyways

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Paintings should be in italics too... By any chance is "The Cat in the Hat" italicize?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not too sure on how to explain it? You should always pause (insert a comma) when you're going to give an extra detail on something like Ex. Johannes Vermeer, (this would be the detail) a seventeenth-century Dutch artist (you add another comma since you're done giving the detail), painted the portrait "Girl with a Pearl Earring."

@Vianne @BlossomCake

Good, good. You should also say that portraits/paintings are "quoted."
