OpenStudy (tinylittlehelper):

Can you post the poems?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The wind began to rock the grass THE WIND begun to rock the grass With threatening tunes and low,— He flung a menace at the earth, A menace at the sky. The leaves unhooked themselves from trees 5 And started all abroad; The dust did scoop itself like hands And throw away the road. The wagons quickened on the streets, The thunder hurried slow; 10 The lightning showed a yellow beak, And then a livid claw. The birds put up the bars to nests, The cattle fled to barns; There came one drop of giant rain, 15 And then, as if the hands That held the dams had parted hold, The waters wrecked the sky, But overlooked my father’s house, Just quartering a tree. 20

I'll tell you how the sun rose I'll tell you how the sun rose,-- A ribbon at a time. The steeples swam in amethyst, The news like squirrels ran. The hills untied their bonnets, The bobolinks begun. Then I said softly to myself, "That must have been the sun!" But how he set, I know not. There seemed a purple stile Which little yellow boys and girls Were climbing all the while Till when they reached the other side, A dominie in gray Put gently up the evening bars, And led the flock away.

So, according to these poems, what is OBVIOUSLY wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

? I just need someone to check my work i think its D

OpenStudy (tinylittlehelper):

D. Both poems are about the power of imagination. Ummmm... Well, no because these poems aren't about people imagining and making wonders happening or something...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then I'm gonna go with probably B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes its D

OpenStudy (tinylittlehelper):

Yes, B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

O. Wait which one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait hold on one second

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D. Both poems are about the power of imagination.

OpenStudy (tinylittlehelper):

How?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is correct

OpenStudy (tinylittlehelper):

The poems both have nature in it. No one is imagining in either poem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm gonna go with B. It just sounds more reasonable..

OpenStudy (tinylittlehelper):

Even though they use imaginary language, they both are talking about nature more. So, B is right. You are correct.
