Which feature separates hominids from other primates? smaller brain size bipedalism use of tools complex social skills
@e.mccormick
Well, do we have a bigger brain than a chimp? Do chimps or gorillas walk upright on two legs as their standard method? Is using a piece of grass to pull insects out of long, narrow holes using tools? Chimps do this. Many primates, chimps, gorillas, etc live in large family groups with complex grooming rituals and the like. Do humans have any complex social rituals? Do we live in groups? Think carefully and I have shown you the answer. @rosepetal_

@praetorian.10 Reread the question, your hint is wrong.
@praetorian.10 Mark Pagel said it was impossible for neandrathals an humans to have reproduced. Basically called it absurd, but he was dead wrong. Kind of humorous to see this citation of his TED talk, which are full of 100% BS, go read about vortex math or the idiot women trying to train fungi to eat her dead skin cells, but chose to use a species that has evolved to degrade lignin and cellulose. And, you are still reading the question wrong. It asks what separates hominids from other primates, you seem to be indicating that the brain size is the separation. Well that is true, but a LARGER brain in hominids is what separates us the the rest of the primates, which have a SMALLER brain. Notice the order of "larger" and "smaller"? That answer says that humans have a smaller brain than the rest of the primates.
