can someone check my answer , please :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I choose A^^^^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sikinder

OpenStudy (caominhim):

if it's parallel then the slope must remain the same, to pass through (3,18) multiply x by the slope and add/subtract until you reach the target y value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i also think its A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Jessica213 u are right

OpenStudy (caominhim):

i'm positive it isn't A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this math problem is kinda confused to me .

OpenStudy (caominhim):

do you know what the slope is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes . I do

OpenStudy (caominhim):

okay so what is the slope in your base equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Try graphing each one. The answer is not A though :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Look for the graphs that are parallel to the given one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Look for the graphs that are parallel to the equation given and passes through the point (3,18). Or the simplest way would be to plug 3 into all the equation given and see if you get 18 as the y axis.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i know that B is parallel

OpenStudy (caominhim):

yes, it's actually the only parallel one because it's the only one with the same slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

WAIT so does that make B the answer ??> <

OpenStudy (caominhim):

yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i see now . :P thanks . have a great day
