The measure of angle θ is 600°. The point (x, y) corresponding to θ on the unit circle is : x; a. -(3^(1/2))/2 b. -1/(2^(1/2)) c. -1/2 d. (3^(1/2))/2 y; a. -(3^(1/2))/2 b. -1/2 c. 1/2 d. (3^(1/2))/2

Nnesha (nnesha):

subtract 360 until you get positive angle between 0 to 360

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what?

Nnesha (nnesha):

given angle is 600 so subtract 600-360 to get an angle between 0 to 360 degree it will be easy to find exact value on the unitt circle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't know what that means. that's why im asking for help. clearly.

Nnesha (nnesha):

|dw:1431898630349:dw| angle on unit circle start from 0 to 360 degree so 600 is bigger than 360 that's why it's easy to subtract first 600-360= 240 now if you look at the unit circle there is 240 angle at 3rd quadrant
