Suppose two suspects in a crime scene have DNA profiles that match the one DNA fragment tested. What should happen next? My first thought was that it should be tested again because their must have been a mistake, but I want to make sure this is correct before I turn it in. Two people cannot have the same DNA profile, right? That means there must be an error and should be retested?

The sample taken from the crime scene should be analyzed for multiple DNA fragments

u will find in this page

what if they're twins..

Either they are twins, or more fragments should be tested. Also, fragment testing is not as specific as sequencing, so if it's not cost prohibitive, sequencing might be an option.
